It was her birthday a few days ago, and I drew her. I'm not completely sure what it is that draws me to Rihanna. I think it's partly because she doesn't seem like a bullshitter. Not like the Beyoncé-types, whose entire presence revolves around a composed and curated image of self-proclaimed greatness and hype regarding their own fabulousness. It seems like she just does whatever she wants and owns herself. She doesn't apologize (ha..."unapologetic"...unintended pun) about who she is and she doesn't assume that the world revolves around her presence. That's the main issue I have with modern celebrities.
